Why we called it

Wave 2 was the quieter sibling of the September launch and it behaved exactly like the first one in miniature. The call went out on 27 September for a 2 October drop: Booster Bundles at £25 into a £55-60 market, Tech Stickers at £15 to £30-35, tins at £10 to £25, Eevee blisters at £10 to £25.

Drop day printed £2,789 across 147 units on the group recap. Smaller numbers per unit than Wave 1, but the entry cost was a tenner in most stores, which makes it the most accessible cook of the autumn.

Then the ghost restocks started. Smyths quietly reloaded on 8 October with bundles at £25 against £60 out, tins at £11.99 to £20-25, and the Ascended Heroes Pin Collection at £25 to £60. No announcement, just shelves. The members with mapped routes caught them.

What members knew before everyone else worked it out.

  • Booster Bundles £25 to a confirmed £55-60. Tech Stickers £15 to £30-35.
  • Tins and Eevee blisters a tenner in, £25 out, which is the lowest entry cost of the autumn cooks.
  • £2,789 group take across 147 units on 2 October.
  • Smyths ghost restocks on 8 October: bundles £25 to £60, AH Pin Collection £25 to £60.

How it played out

#pokemon-alerts · call log
  1. 27 Sep

    The call

Per-SKU targets posted five days out: bundles, stickers, tins and blisters each priced against a resale band.

  2. 2 Oct

    Drop day

147 units move across the group for £2,789. Every band holds.

  3. 8 Oct

    Ghost restocks

Smyths reload with no announcement. Bundles and the AH Pin Collection both clear at £60 against £25 in.

The takeaway

Wave 2 money was route money. Nothing here needed speed or capital, it needed knowing which SKUs carried margin and which shelves would quietly refill a week later. Both halves were posted in advance.
