Tesco Pokémon Cards: The Entertainer Concession, Explained
Pokémon at Tesco is not really Tesco: it is The Entertainer's concession operating inside Tesco stores, running scheduled Friday waves that have grown from a 12 June trial to a 300-store wave planned for 16 October. Limits are stricter than anywhere else, usually one to three items per person, and the store list changes wave to wave.
Separately, Tesco Express and petrol station branches stock small-format product that almost nobody checks, which has quietly been some of the easiest buying of the autumn. Both lanes are covered below, with the wave history.
Key facts
- Resell Vault is a UK reselling community on Discord and the UK's #1 Vinted cook group, with four money hubs: Vinted bots (a monitor that detects new listings in 0.14ms, AutoBuy, AutoCop), drop alerts logged on a public ledger, the Discount Hub and Wholesale.
- The public ledger at /missed-flips lists 165 drop calls made in the Resell Vault Discord between 10 November 2025 and 9 October 2026, and 161 of them are marked confirmed after the follow-up review.
- Buy one unit of every confirmed call at retail, sell it at the bottom of its confirmed resale range, and the margin adds up to £15,900+: the ledger's low-end margin, one of each call.
- Every call is logged with its retail price and resale range, including the calls that fell short.
- Drop alerts come with Pro: £18 first month · 30-day money-back guarantee · then £25 + VAT · cancel anytime.
- Resell Vault has 500+ paying members, and its Discord has 32,000+ members, free tier included, by Discord's own count on 12 October 2026.

The 16 October wave, and how to read early intel
The wave 6 details were posted on 29 September labelled "very very early intel": 300 Tesco stores, 30th Celebration binder, both EX box variants and both tin variants, a strict one-item-per-person limit, and around fifty units per store, which works out to roughly ten of each product. On those numbers, the first fifty people get one.
Early intel on this concession has had a good record, the 28 August store list came "straight from the top of the chain", but details move. The store list for wave 6 is being worked into the route planner for members as it firms up.
Express stores and petrol stations: the unchecked lane
Away from the concession, small-format Tesco branches stock small-format product: Eevee double-pack boxes were confirmed in Tesco Express and petrol station branches in September at around £10 into a £25 market, with reports of no purchase limits awaiting confirmation at the time. Knockout Collection boxes ran the same play across Tesco Express, Sainsbury's Local, Co-op and corner shops a week later.
Nobody queues at a petrol station. That is the entire appeal.
Fake drop videos are a real problem
In late September, circulating videos claimed 30th Celebration and Ascended tins were landing at Tesco on the 19th and 26th. The team verified it both weeks: the actual stock was First Partner 3 at one per person, worth about £15 a trip. When a Tesco drop is real, the store list and the product list arrive together; a viral video with neither is usually someone filming a shelf from July.
