Why we called it
Royalty already exists in UFC and WWE. This is its football debut, landing days before the 26/27 Premier League season kicks off, and it is the most expensive single box we have posted.
Base cards are numbered to sixty or fewer, with Liquid Silver inserts and the autographs doing the heavy lifting: Crowned Champions, Imperial Ink and Superior Signatures. The headline chase is Bow To Greatness, which Topps describe as ultra-limited and build around the competition's greatest ever players. Match-worn relics throughout.
The EQL format is what makes a £725 box workable at all. You see the exact figure before you commit, so there is no blind gamble on a four-figure position. If the number comes in higher than expected you simply do not take it. We put resale at £1,100-1,250 and were explicit that nothing has dropped yet, so there are no comps: that range is projected off how premium Topps products have behaved recently, not measured.

The takeaway
The interesting thing about EQL is that it removes the worst part of a big-ticket call, the blind commit. You see the number, then you decide. That is also why we published a projection and labelled it as one rather than dressing a guess up as a comp.
