Why we called it
Ravensburger run these as a hidden UK draw rather than a sale: free to enter, one entry per person with a maximum of two, and nothing is charged unless you are drawn. A Robin Hood and Little John panorama mat exclusive to the Attack of the Vine set, at £22.99 if you win.
The reason we could put a number on it is that June's Rapunzel mat ran the identical draw at the identical price, so there is a clean sold history to read. It went £31.58 twice in early July, then £50, £50, £47.50 and £49.99 as late as 20 August. Still holding around 2.2 times retail two months on.
That history also contains the only instruction that matters if you win. The early sellers, the ones who raced each other in the first fortnight, got £31. The ones who waited got £50. Same mat, same draw, sixty percent difference, purely on patience.
The edge
