Why we called it
A brand-new TCG from Riot Games, built on the biggest PC game audience in the world — and supply-capped at one box per Riot ID. The first set, Origins, had already shown the pattern: retail sells out, boxes climb past £200.
Spiritforged was called the morning of the 5pm pre-order with presale comps already at £135–170 and the Origins trajectory as the ceiling. Monitors were armed and ACO was available for members who wanted the checkout handled — useful when the cap is one per account.
The edge
What members knew before everyone else worked it out.
- One-box-per-ID cap concentrates scarcity and rewards multi-account setups.
- Presale market already £23–65 above retail before the window opened.
- Origins comps pointed to £200+ post-release — the hold case was built in.
- New TCGs are highest-margin in their first year, before print runs catch demand.

Morning call
The alert posts with the 5pm Riot Merch window, presale comps and ACO instructions.
- Post-release
The Origins pattern
Sealed product tracks the first set's trajectory toward £200+.
The takeaway
Every major TCG was once a new TCG nobody flipped. Riot has the audience to make this one stick — and the early boxes are the cheap ones.
