Why we called it
Every so often the ledger gets an entry with no buy-in at all. Designer Nik Bentel's Lidl trolley bag — a London Fashion Week piece handed out free at a pop-up — was already selling for £180+ on eBay when the next ballot was announced.
The call was the easiest risk assessment we've ever written: the resale was proven, the entry was free, and the only cost was being ready at 10am on the Thursday. Enter regardless; the downside is literally zero.
The edge
What members knew before everyone else worked it out.
- Proven resale before entry — £180+ eBay sales from the first hand-out.
- Zero retail cost: a free online ballot tied to fashion-week hype.
- Sign-up prepared in advance, entry window called for ~10am.
- Infinite ROI is a silly phrase, but there isn't a better one available.

The takeaway
Not every call needs capital. Some just need you to be paying attention on a Thursday morning — which, conveniently, is the entire product we sell.
