Why we called it
The Heroines box ran the sharpest decay curve of the quarter and the ledger keeps the whole slope. A week before release the aftermarket sat at £299. The day before, £240. On drop day, 28 August through the Disney Store queue at ~£100, eighty-one sales printed a £175 median.
Every seller on that curve made money: £71 a box at the drop-day median, more for anyone who pre-sold higher. But the direction only ran one way, and the recap said what that means: on queue-released Disney product, supply arrives all at once and the early ask is the best ask.
