Why we called it
Rockstar's flagship collector's box for the biggest game launch in a decade: The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection, at £349.99 through the Rockstar Store. Called on 24 September on the simple thesis that every piece of official GTA VI product this autumn has sold through and reprinted on resale.
The 4 October restock proved the thesis at the top of the range. Units cleared the store again, and eBay solds confirmed around £530 and climbing the same day, roughly £180 a box on the most conspicuous collectible of the launch cycle.
Like the DualSense before it, the second window is 19 November. Licensed flagship product into a launch week of this size has one historical direction, and the ledger will record whichever way it actually goes.
