Why we called it
Raldoron opened the September run of Black Library Saturdays and opened it well: called on 1 September at ~£45 with presale guidance of £95-115 and an instruction to list at £130. Week-one sellers got exactly that, with flips clearing £100-130.
Then it did what no other special edition in the quarter did: it broke its floor. The 6 October review named it plainly as the one SE that genuinely fell through its band, and the week-one warning to sell rather than hold turned out to be the whole trade.
The lane lesson is the one the Deathwatch walk-down also taught, sharpened: these books clear 2x in week one on launch energy, and the long hold is a different, worse trade that nobody called.
